These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services of the Pinellas County Chiropractic Society ("PCCS," "we," "us," or "our"), a professional chiropractic association serving Pinellas County, Florida.
By accessing our website, becoming a member, or participating in PCCS events and programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website or services.
Use of the Website
This website is intended for use by licensed chiropractic professionals, business partners, advertising members, and individuals interested in supporting the chiropractic profession in Pinellas County. By using this website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to engage with PCCS.
You may use this website only for lawful purposes directly related to PCCS membership, event participation, dues payment, or professional inquiry. You agree not to use the website in any manner that could disable, damage, or impair PCCS's ability to serve its members.
While PCCS makes every effort to maintain accurate and current information on this website — including event schedules, board listings, and membership details — we do not warrant that all content is free from errors or omissions. Contact us directly to confirm current details.
Membership
PCCS offers three membership categories: Chiropractic Member, Sponsor/Business Partner, and Advertising Member. Each membership type carries specific benefits and obligations as described on the PCCS website and in membership materials.
Submission of a membership application does not guarantee membership. PCCS reserves the right to approve or decline any membership application at its discretion. Members are expected to uphold the professional standards and ethics of the chiropractic profession.
Memberships are annual unless otherwise specified. Dues must be paid in full for membership to be active. Members with outstanding dues may lose access to member benefits until dues are current.
PCCS reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership for conduct that violates these Terms, professional ethics, or the values of the organization. No refund of dues will be issued upon termination for cause.
Payments & Dues
Annual membership dues and any additional fees (event registrations, newsletter advertising, etc.) are due upon invoice unless otherwise arranged. Payments may be made online via the PCCS Pay Now portal, by check, or by other methods as communicated by PCCS.
Membership dues are generally non-refundable once the membership period has begun. Refunds for events or special programs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact PCCS directly for refund inquiries.
Online payments are processed through secure third-party payment platforms. PCCS does not store full payment card numbers. By submitting a payment, you authorize the applicable charges and confirm that your payment information is accurate.
Events & Meetings
PCCS hosts regular monthly general meetings for members. Meeting schedules, locations, and speakers are subject to change. PCCS is not liable for any inconvenience caused by changes, cancellations, or rescheduling of events.
All attendees at PCCS events are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner consistent with the standards of the chiropractic profession. PCCS reserves the right to remove any individual from an event for disruptive or inappropriate conduct.
PCCS may photograph or record events for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. By attending a PCCS event, you consent to being photographed or recorded and to PCCS's use of such content for organizational purposes.
PAC Contributions
Contributions to the PCCS Political Action Committee (PAC) are voluntary and used to support legislative and political advocacy for chiropractic rights in Florida. PAC contributions are separate from membership dues and are not tax-deductible.
PAC contributions made through PayPal or other online platforms are subject to the terms and conditions of those platforms. PCCS is not responsible for processing errors originating from third-party payment platforms.
PAC contributions are non-refundable once submitted, as they are allocated to advocacy activities that may begin immediately upon receipt.
Logo & Branding Use
Active PCCS members in good standing may use the PCCS member logo in accordance with the instructions provided on the Member Logo Usage page. Logo usage is a membership benefit and may not be transferred or sublicensed.
The PCCS logo and branding may not be altered, distorted, or used in any manner that misrepresents affiliation with PCCS or implies endorsement of a product or service not authorized by PCCS. Use of the logo by non-members or lapsed members is strictly prohibited.
PCCS reserves the right to revoke logo usage rights at any time for violations of these Terms or upon termination of membership.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, newsletters, and educational materials — is the property of the Pinellas County Chiropractic Society or its content contributors, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, or create derivative works from any PCCS content without prior written permission. Educational materials shared at PCCS events are for member use only and may not be redistributed without authorization.

If you submit content to PCCS — including classified ads for the newsletter, directory listings, testimonials, or other materials — you grant PCCS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, edit, and display that content for organizational and promotional purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit is accurate, does not infringe on third-party rights, and complies with applicable law and professional ethics standards.

PCCS provides its website, events, and programs on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PCCS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, your membership, or your participation in PCCS events — including but not limited to errors in information, event cancellations, or technical failures of the website. PCCS's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the dues paid by you in the current membership year.
