About PAC

PAC fundraising efforts are donations to the “PoliticalAction Committee” to fund and support lobbying efforts in favor of chiropractic rights, policies, and scope of practice in the state of FL. One of the vitally important functions of the PCCS is to raise money for PAC to donate to FL chiropractic lobbying funds to defend against the many political bills submitted annually against our profession. Under the support of the FCA, the FCA Counsel Paul Lambert, the FCA Assistant General Counsel Kim Driggers, and FCA lobbyist Jack Hebert our PAC fundraising efforts provide the monetary means for the FCA and Jack Hebert to defend our chiropractic profession’s scope of practice and allowed services in FL 2017. Kim Driggers reported at the Naples FCA convention, 2020 alone defended 22 different bills submitted against chiropractic and we successfully conserved DACBRs in FL as well as over-turned a longstanding “durable equipment” policy prohibiting the chiropractic sales of TENS units, which we are now allowed to sell without a special license.
