Chiro Day – Lobbying Trip to Tallahassee

Similar to the nationally hosted Washington, DC chiropractic lobbying event “ACA Engage”, formerly known as “The National Chiropractic Leadership Conference (NCLC)”, the PCCS board members along with volunteered PCCS chiropractic members and students make a day trip to the state capitol of Tallahassee to lobby for chiropractic continued support with our state’s government officials. As a group, we rent a large luxury bus and make an evening trip up to Tallahassee and stay in a selected hotel near the capitol. Additionally, the FCA provides funding to allow any interested chiropractic student to attend who are invited to ride along with us on the bus ride up and paid hotel overnight stay. The following day under the leadership of our lobbyist Jack Hebert and our fellow chiropractic colleague Dr. Pearlman, we tour the capitol while meeting FL Senators and House of Representatives, as well as local Pinellas county Governors.
